The Strong Truss Trouper 1.2k is a compact HMI followspot designed for applications where a traditional full‑size spotlight would be impractical. Powered by a 1,200‑watt HMI lamp, it delivers a bright, focused beam for concerts, theaters, clubs, houses of worship, and special events. The fixture is commonly mounted on truss, but can also be used on a floor stand, making it suitable for a variety of lighting positions. Interchangeable short, medium, and long‑throw lens assemblies allow the beam to be tailored to different venue sizes, while built‑in controls for iris, focus, douser, and color selection give operators precise control during a performance.
