Shure ULX-D 4-Channel Wireless System
This Shure ULX‑D 4‑Channel Wireless System built around the ULXD4Q quad receiver is paired with four ULXD1 bodypack transmitters, four ULXD2 handheld transmitters, two Shure active paddle antennas, two UA8‑470‑542 half‑wave whip antennas, and two mic stands. The system provides a scalable, professional‑grade digital wireless package suited for multi‑channel live sound, corporate AV, worship, and theater environments. The ULX‑D platform delivers 24‑bit/48 kHz digital audio with a flat 20 Hz–20 kHz response, greater than 120 dB of dynamic range, and low‑latency, artifact‑free performance across a 100‑meter operating range, while offering up to 64 MHz of tuning bandwidth and efficient RF operation with up to 17 active transmitters in a standard 6 MHz TV channel or up to 47 channels in High Density mode when tightly packed systems are required. The ULXD4Q receiver integrates true digital diversity reception for each of its four channels, optimized scanning to locate clean frequencies, AES‑256 encrypted transmission for secure applications, and Dante networked audio for multi‑channel digital routing and integration into modern networked AV systems, along with Wireless Workbench compatibility for coordinated RF planning and remote monitoring. The ULXD1 bodypack and ULXD2 handheld transmitters match the receiver’s digital feature set, each providing wideband RF stability, long‑runtime rechargeable options, and full‑bandwidth digital audio, with the ULXD1 offering 20 Hz–20 kHz response and the ULXD2 delivering 30 Hz–20 kHz depending on the microphone capsule used. To improve RF reliability, the included Shure active paddle antennas extend reception range and reduce interference in complex RF environments, while the UA8‑470‑542 whip antennas provide complementary omnidirectional coverage within the 470–542 MHz band and allow variable positioning angles to help stabilize signal in smaller or medium‑range deployments. With the addition of two mic stands for handheld placement, this ULX‑D configuration forms a complete, high‑channel‑count digital wireless system engineered to deliver clean audio and stable RF performance in demanding multi‑zone installations or high‑profile live productions.
