The Radial SGI is a two‑piece guitar line‑driver system (SGI‑TX transmitter and SGI‑RX receiver) designed to send an unbalanced guitar or bass signal up to 100 meters over a standard balanced XLR cable without adding noise or altering tone. The TX module uses a discrete Class‑A buffer and adjustable Drag control to maintain the feel and loading of a direct amp connection, while the RX module converts the balanced line back to the correct high‑impedance instrument level for an amp or pedal input. Jensen transformers in both units provide isolation to eliminate hum and buzz and preserve a wide, flat frequency response with low distortion. This makes the SGI ideal for studio setups where the guitarist wants to play in the control room while tracking through a distant amp, as well as live rigs using off‑stage amps, isolation cabinets, wireless systems, or long stage runs.
