The EAW RL12 is a self-powered, two-way loudspeaker designed for professional live sound applications where fast setup, consistent coverage, and rugged reliability are essential. Part of the Redline series, it features a 12" vented low-frequency driver and a 1" exit compression driver with a 1.75" voice coil, mounted on a user-rotatable 90° x 60° horn. The system is powered by a 1,250-watt bi-amplified Class-D module with Power Factor Correction and includes onboard DSP with EAW Focusing and DynO processing for optimized impulse response and dynamic headroom. The enclosure supports both FOH and monitor use, with symmetrical wedge angles and swappable rear panels for mirrored pairs. Additional features include three pre-tuned voicings, LED mute for discreet operation, PowerCON loop-through connectors, and integrated rigging points. Built with a RoadCoat-treated wooden cabinet and ergonomic handles, the RL12 is engineered for durability in touring, corporate AV, and fixed installation environments.
