CHOC Gala 2026 (Featuring Christina Aguilera)
At the 2026 CHOC Gala, PCE teamed up with RLM Event Management & Production to produce a spectacular charity event. The gala raised over $7,000,000 to support CHOC hospital's mission to provide outstanding children's healthcare.
The 2026 CHOC Gala took place in between the Grove of Anaheim and Angel's Stadium. Ordinarily a parking lot, one of the biggest challenges of working on the CHOC Gala is transforming a nondescript area into a high-end nexus for a prestigious charity event. The CHOC Gala features several important components, including a red carpet, cocktail hour, black tie dinner, charity auction, and a night-capping musical performance. The PCE team helped out every step of the way, contributing our expertise to facilitate every one of these phases. We built the main stage, using a massive Apex 5040 Mobile Stage (deployed in Beast Mode), equipping this behemoth with audio, lighting, LED video walls, special effects equipment, and everything else the night required. Additional trussing throughout the event space helped designate areas for entrances and exits, the red carpet (lit by PCE lighting), and two cocktail lounges. Throughout the venue, our lighting set the proper mood and provided basic illumination once the sun went down.
The event concluded with an unforgettable performance from pop legend Christina Aguilera, who electrified everyone in attendance. Christina's show made use of over 70 PCE moving lights, not to mention strip lights and a host of other special fixtures (including two remote-operated follow spots). We also deployed a complete video crew to the event, using manned, roaming, and PTZ cameras to provide a high caliber feed to three massive LED video walls.
We've worked on the annual CHOC Gala for over ten years at this point, helping it grow bigger and better each time.
