American Cancer Society at Anaheim Convention Center

PCE teamed up with the American Cancer Society for the Every cancer. Every Life. Event of Orange County inside and outside the Anaheim Convention Center. This fun, family-friendly event helped honor those those who are facing or have faced cancer while also raising awareness for the life-saving work the American Cancer Society does every day. With informative, interactive displays, expert presenters, games, and musical entertainment, this community event united countless people for an incredible cause.

In the common space outside the convention center, PCE deployed an Apex 2016 Mobile Stage, decorating it with moving lights and outfitting it with line array speakers. An assortment of entertainers used this stage to draw attention to the event, while an adjacent LED video wall displayed important messages from the American Cancer Society.

Inside the convention center, our team had the rare challenge of deploying a second stage trailer: the Apex 2424 Mobile Stage. This gave the American Cancer Society a speedy, efficient way to build a mainstage for the event, giving them a convenient mounting point for a PA system and some dynamic lighting (further augmented by numerous truss towers/lights positioned around the room). PCE also used some battery-powered uplights to illuminate a giant, inflatable colon (yes, the body part), one of American Cancer Society's more unique teaching tools.

At PCE, we're super of the great work we've helped the American Cancer Society accomplish in Orange County and beyond. We've partnered for several major events over the last few years, and look forward to helping the nonprofit reach even greater heights in the future.
