American Cancer Society Orange County Gala 2026

In 2026, the annual American Cancer Society Orange County Gala took place inside and outside the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club. This event celebrated the progress the American Cancer Society has made in the fight against cancer and helped raise money for their future efforts. PCE teamed up with the esteemed charity organization to make sure that this incredible event went off without a hitch.

PCE took care of audio at the outdoor cocktail hour at the beginning of the event, while an outdoor LED video wall played prerecorded video content for guests to enjoy. Just inside the door, we helped create a red carpet style photo area, with audio and a custom American Cancer Society gobo.

PCE converted one of the main resort ballrooms into a spectacular centerpiece for the event. We decorated the room with RGB lighting to set the proper mood. But the showstopping feature? The sparkling mainstage at the front of the room. Using strip lighting, we turned a gold sequin drape backdrop into a truly dazzling accent piece for the event proceedings, which included numerous keynote speakers, a charity auction, and a performance from a 20+ person band.

All of this action required a good deal of specialized video production. Our team provided image magnification and playback of prerecorded content using two projectors/screens. The event went smoothly, with the American Cancer Society meeting their goals and the guests having a great time. We're already looking forward to next year's event!
