Saturn Awards
PCE partnered with the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films to produce the 53rd annual Saturn Awards. The Saturn Awards recognize the year's finest achievements in sci-fi, fantasy, and horror film and television. The 2026 ceremony took place at the Hilton Los Angeles on the Universal Studios Hollywood campus.
The stars were out in full force for the event. Some of the night's big winners included Tom Cruise, James Cameron, Elle Fanning, Sigourney Weaver, Rhea Seehorn, Vince Gilligan, and Guillermo del Toro, with the likes of Mark Hamill, Geena Davis, Laurence Fishburne, Paul Bettany, and Bob Odenkirk making special appearances. Comedian/actor Joel McHale hosted the show, during which genre luminaries George Lucas and William Shatner accepted lifetime achievement awards.
The PCE team handled every aspect of the production, including the red carpet, cocktail area, main stage, and accommodations for event's star-studded guest list. This event really allowed us to show what we can do, from traditional staging and lighting to a complex broadcast (streamed live globally) that involved several camera operators and an overhead jib. Our production spilled into other areas of the hotel, including a photo press room and an adjacent space for interviews from a wide range of media outlets.
The 53rd Saturn Awards went off swimmingly, with high marks from event participants, honorees, the public, and the press gathered to cover the event. Many members of the PCE team have deep personal connections with the sci-fi, fantasy, and horror genres, so we were delighted to get the chance to work on such a phenomenal event. We can't wait to see what future years hold for PCE and the Saturn Awards!
