MemorialCare Gala

The MemorialCare Medical Group tapped PCE as their production partner for their October 2023 charity gala at the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach. In turn, we helped MemorialCare transform several areas within the resort for the event. We provided audio (QSC K10.2 speakers) for the cocktail hour, lighting (Chauvet onAir Panel 2 IP fixtures) for a "red carpet" photo area, and a ton of production for the event's main banquet hall.

This video mostly showcases our work in the banquet hall area. The first thing you'll likely notice is the mood lighting throughout the space. Uplighting, gobos, moving heads, and Leko lights positioned throughout the room illuminated the stage and walls to set the mood. A PCE lighting designer controlled the action from a Strand FLX S24 console. Two projectors blasted images to house screens during presentations from various speakers. Finally, more QSC K10.2 speakers delivered audio, with a PCE audio engineer mixing from an Allen & Heath SQ-6 console.
