Cal State Poly Pomona 2026 Commencements

Over a multi-day span in May 2026, PCE teamed up with Cal State Poly Pomona for their full slate of spring commencement ceremonies. To do this, we built one of the main campus quads into a graduation supercenter, erecting a massive mainstage to conduct the ceremonies. This covered stage gave event presenters a place to make their speeches and graduating students a platform to walk across to collect their degrees.

Inside and outside the stage, PCE lighting made sure everyone in attendance could follow the proceedings (an especially important consideration for ceremonies that went on into the evening). Several L-Acoustics line arrays (mounted on Genie Super Towers) delivered crisp, clear audio to the crowd—a contingent often numbering in the thousands.

One of the centerpieces of the production was the massive LED video wall, a gargantuan structure PCE mounted next to the stage. This video wall played a live feed of the proceedings (as well as prerecorded video content) from a full university video team.

2026 was the first year we teamed up with Cal State Poly Pomona, but we look forward to continuing to be their full-service partner for these events for many years to come.
