PCE Tours North America with Professor Brian Cox
Celebrity physicist Professor Brian Cox just concluded the North American leg of his Horizons world tour, a 34-stop trip around the US and Canada that explores the origins of the universe and our place within it. PCE provided lighting, audio, and an LED video wall for this prestigious lecture series, and we're super proud of the result. Watch the video below for a special glimpse of the tour:
Horizons uses Disguise Media Servers to play 4K video and audio on a 32' x 13' Absen PL2.5 LED video wall. The show gives audiences a chance to view rare, high-res, deep space images (many sourced directly from NASA) in pristine clarity.

PCE Team Spotlight: Jay Beard
We've got a new Workforce Coordinator! Entertainment industry veteran Jay Beard just took over for Cole Wilson (who has moved into a field role at PCE), and has already taken charge of scheduling our talent pool. Jay will spend her days matching our team of talented entertainment professionals to the many events that require their skills.
Prior to PCE, Jay spent 18 years in the live events business, including a long stint as a stage tech and crew chief at Disney. With both technical and administrative experience, Jay is a perfect fit for the fast-paced demands of her new Workforce Coordinator role.
A huge baseball fan (go Dodgers!), Jay recently set a goal of catching a game at every single Major League Baseball stadium. She also plays on and manages a championship-winning rec softball team in the Long Beach area.
